The cathedral's most famous possession is the Holy Chalice, the Santo Cáliz, a first-century AD agate cup that multiple popes have formally identified as the authentic chalice used by Jesus Christ at the Last Supper. The adjacent Miguelete tower (El Miguelete) is the symbol of Valencia and can be climbed for panoramic views.
