About Gingerguide
Gingerguide is a self-guided audio walking tour app. You walk a city at your own pace while a researched story plays at each sight, and you can ask a built-in AI guide follow-up questions.
The product is made by Gingertech and published on the Apple App Store and Google Play as Gingerguide. The public website at gingerguide.app is the catalog of those tours: 100+ European cities, 2,000+ narrated attractions, and 16 countries, with full narration in English, Spanish, French, German, Turkish, and Chinese.
Each stop is a short, sourced story — typically two to three minutes — not a Wikipedia dump and not a live human guide on a schedule. Cities can be downloaded for offline use, including audio, photos, and map tiles. There is no account required to browse the app; a free preview is available in every city, and an optional subscription unlocks the full library.
This site exists so travelers (and the agents that help them) can see what Gingerguide covers before they download anything. The English catalog pages, the REST API, and the MCP server all describe the same public list of cities and sights.
Gingerguide is not a booking engine, a hotel marketplace, or a transit app. If you want a self-guided audio tour of a covered European city, this is the product. If you need reservations or live timetables, look elsewhere.
