About Highland Park Distillery

The most northerly Scotch whisky distillery in Scotland, producing heather-honey-and-peat-smoke whiskies on Orkney since 1798.

Highland Park is the most northerly Scotch whisky distillery in Scotland, located in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands. Founded in 1798, reputedly on the site of a church once presided over by a notorious smuggler-clergyman named Magnus Eunson, the distillery is one of the few that still malts a portion of its own barley using traditional floor malting. The whisky is famous for its perfect balance of heather-honey sweetness and aromatic peat smoke.

Did you know? The distillery was founded on the site where smuggler-clergyman Magnus Eunson hid whisky barrels under the church pulpit.
