About Ferrari Museum (Galleria Ferrari, Maranello)

The official museum of the world's most iconic racing brand, 20km from Modena in Maranello, with Formula 1 cars, championship trophies, engines, and the original factory where Ferrari was born.

The Galleria Ferrari in Maranello, 20 kilometres south of Modena, is the official museum of the Ferrari brand and one of the most popular automotive museums in the world. The museum was opened in 1990, expanded in 2004 by architects Studio Iotti + Pavarani, and now occupies a purpose-built facility adjacent to the historic Ferrari factory. The collection includes original Formula 1 race cars from different eras, championship-winning vehicles, Ferrari production models spanning eight decades, and an extraordinary collection of trophies, engines, technical drawings, and archival materials. The museum also preserves Enzo Ferrari's original office and personal artefacts. The adjacent Fiorano test circuit, while generally not open to the public, is visible from certain viewpoints. The museum connects deeply to the Motor Valley of Emilia-Romagna, the unique concentration of luxury and performance automobile manufacturers (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, Ducati) in a small region that makes this the automotive capital of the world.

Did you know? The Ferrari 250 GTO (1962-64), of which only 39 were built, is the world's most valuable car, individual examples have sold for over 70 million US dollars at auction.
