About Sky Garden
London's highest public garden, a stunning three-storey indoor garden at the top of the "Walkie-Talkie" building with free panoramic views.
The Sky Garden sits at the top of 20 Fenchurch Street, nicknamed the "Walkie-Talkie" for its distinctive top-heavy shape. Spanning the 35th to 37th floors, it is London's highest public garden, filled with lush Mediterranean and South African plants, trees, and observation decks offering 360-degree views.
Designed by Rafael Viñoly and opened in 2015, the building was controversial from the start. Its concave glass facade famously concentrated sunlight so intensely that it melted parts of a Jaguar car parked on the street below, earning it the nickname "Fryscraper."
The Sky Garden is free to visit but requires advance booking. It includes restaurants, bars, and an open-air terrace, one of the best free experiences in London.
