A picturesque skyway connecting two buildings of Hertford College, often compared to the Bridge of Sighs in Venice.
Hertford Bridge, commonly known as the Bridge of Sighs, is a skybridge over New College Lane completed in 1914. It connects the Old and New Quadrangles of Hertford College. Although it is often compared to the Ponte dei Sospiri in Venice, its design is actually closer to the Rialto Bridge. It is one of the most photographed structures in Oxford.
